About Parish

SHAHJAHANPUR Mission at Shajahanpur began in 1967. A property with the existing house was bought in 1967, and till 1976 Eucharist was celebrated in a Chapel. From 1976 onwards ,liturgical services are celebrated in St.Mary's Anglican Church which is now known as St.Raphael's Church. The Church was renovated and blessed by Most Rev.Ignatius D'Souza on 22nd March, 2015. Franciscan Clarist Sisters (FCC) were invited to help in the mission field of Shajahanpur in 1974. In the same year St.Paul's School was founded in the same compound. Franciscan Servants of Mary (FSM) sisters have opened a school and convent at Chinour and are helping in pastoral and educational activities of the Parish since 1996
